Infatuation: A Club Destiny Novel (Volume 5)

McKenna Thorne, owner of Sensations, Inc. – an online magazine geared toward libidinous carnality and erotic lifestyles - is intimately familiar with the lifestyle that the Club Destiny club is famous for. As a journalist, she’s interested in understanding just what make

Infatuated with Club Destiny!!
I thought this book was amazing and could not put it down!

I just love how Tag loves McKenna. This story is intense, romantic, and totally captivating. I love that Nicole writes these stories so that you see it from each point of view. She writes with such detailed descriptions of everything going on - it's like you can feel all of the emotions that the characters are experiencing.

Sometimes, when reading a book, I can't seem to get enough of a specific character. One of my favorite things about how Nicole has written the Club Destiny series, is the way she brings other "key" characters from previous books back together. It gives me, as the reader, a way to sort of keep tabs on them and follow their stories just a little bit more.

Sticks & Stones (Cut & Run)

Six months after nearly losing their lives to a serial killer in New York City, FBI Special Agents Ty Grady and Zane Garrett are suffering through something almost as frightening: the monotony of desk duty. When they're ordered to take a vacation for the good of everyone's s

You Just Can't Get Any Better Than Ty and Zane
If you're a fan of m/m romantic thrillers, then you can't beat the writing pair of Urban and Roux for incredible fiction, and in Sticks & Stones, the sequel to one of my favorite reads of 2009, Cut & Run (and on Kindle: Cut & Run), the irresistible and at times irascible FBI Special Agents Zane Garrett and Ty Grady are back with a vengeance. They're still toting around all sorts of personal and professional baggage and struggling with the aftereffects of a case that nearly killed them both, not to mention struggling with their relationship with each other, and yet - thanks to incredible writing and exquisitely detailed characterization - this second book drives home just how amazing a read...

BOOK TWO OF THE BUTTERFLY TRILOGYFrom the author of the New York Times bestseller Butterfly comes a provocative, riveting tale of one woman’s escape from her haunting past. The rich, the glamorous, the powerful all come to STARS—to gossip, to make deals . . . and to indu

Read Butterfly first to get the full effect
You must read Butterfly before reading Stars. If you read this one first you are missing out on a lot! This story continues with the Beverly and Danny story/war. From Butterfly she was bent on revenge for Danny talking her into an abortion and getting her involved in being a prostitute at a young age. I can't tell you too much about what happened to them because it is an important element of this story. This is the story of Phillipa the twin sister of Beverly (unknown to Beverly) who is searching for information on her twin.

Phillipa once overweight has transformed herself and is running a successful Diet center. After hiring a private detective she is on the trail of finding out what happened to her twin. However, Danny Mackay is bent on his own revenge and seeing Phillipa makes him think she's Beverly.

Ms. Harvey does it again with Stars. She creates a wonderfully intricate story that jumps off the page. The sex is graphic so if you don't like that be warned that she...

>> Nowhere Ranch

Nowhere Ranch

Roe Davis is a man who works hard, keeps to himself, and never mixes business with pleasure -- until he takes a weekend away from his new job at Nowhere Ranch and runs into the owner at the only gay bar for two hundred miles. Getting involved with the boss is a bad idea, but

Lovely and worth reading until the very end
Nowhere Ranch is a story about finding love and a home when just the thought of an emotional entanglement sends you running in terror.

Monroe grew up on a farm and expected to spend his life there but circumstances drastically changed when his parents discovered he was into boys and told him to straighten up or get out. Roe refused to hide who he was and left, spending a small stint in jail and moving from town to town, job to job, terrified of sticking around long enough to make a friend or tie of any kind. He signs on as ranch hand at the aptly named "Nowhere Ranch" and doesn't really notice owner Travis Loving as anything other than "boss" until the night they bump into each other at the nearest bar and realizes they have a whole heck of a lot in common.

Both were just looking for some hot kinky sex (and boy did they find some!) and plan to return to the boss/employee relationship though Travis makes it clear he'd welcome Roe on his door at any time for more...

Enslave: Beauty Tames the Beast

With Enslave, author Cathy Yardley updates the famous “Beauty and the Beast” story, giving it a distinctly adult, deliciously erotic treatment.Having previously reimagined “Sleeping Beauty” (Ravish) and “Snow White” (Crave), Yardley now completes the trilogy, cem

I didn't care for the characters. They weren't interesting. There were a lot of sex scenes, but they lacked emotional draw.
REVIEWER'S OPINION:
I wasn't thrilled. I wasn't drawn to the characters. The story was ok but could have used more depth. There were many sex scenes which were ok, but I wasn't drawn in emotionally. There was one event which didn't make sense to me. Dominic and Nadia like and enjoy each other, but he decides to return her to her home. This causes Nadia to feel rejected. He ends up taking her back, but I found it unnecessary. It was an illogical source of conflict. The Jelena story was a little more interesting, but again I wasn't drawn into the characters enough to enjoy it.

A minor problem: the cover picture is wrong. Dominic has a disfigured face. Cover guy does not.

STORY BRIEF:
Dominic is disfigured with scars on his face and body. Alexis had something to do with causing them when he broke up with her a few years back. She wants him dead and has a contract out on his life. He lives in a remote fortress-like home. Mikhail steals...

Mystery Man (Dream Man)

Night time is the right time...Gwendolyn Kidd has met the man of her dreams. He's hot, he's sexy, and what started as a no-names-exchanged night of passion has blossomed into a year and a half-long pleasure fest. Sure, it's a little strange that he only appears in her bed at

Fun, fun, fun
This was my first Kristen Ashley novel and I really enjoyed it. The story is interesting and all of the characters, including the many secondary characters, are well-defined. The hero is super possessive and super dominant. Yes, he has issues but I loved him and how protective he was. Warning - he is not at all PC. The heroine is super girly but never pushed over into annoying territory for me. This is a long novel - over 10000 Kindle locations - but it never dragged. Very glad I took the chance on this one.
